JOB TITLE: Kitchen Assistant & Washing Up

Heath House Kitchen launched on 20^th May 2021. All food is freshly prepared and cooked onsite using a wide range of ingredients.  The restaurant is a relaxed and family friendly. We place a huge emphasis on providing our guests with a warm welcome and a high level of friendly and caring customer service.  

Your primary role is washing-up and cleaning, ensuring dishes, glasses, and equipment are sparkling & clean and available when required.

The role also involves maintaining very high standards of hygiene within the kitchen area and includes emptying rubbish bins, sweeping, moping, floors, scrubbing down kitchen surfaces, cleaning fridges, and food prep areas.

We are a small team here at Heath House Kitchen/Training and Conference Centre and team work is important. Whilst we all have our own specific duties related to our skills and expertise, it is important that we all ‘muck-in’ and undertake the general duties that we can all do.

No experience is necessary but prior experience is an advantage

The roles includes but is not limited to:

• Washing dishes / cutlery / glasses / pans and equipment
• Deep cleaning the kitchen, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing surfaces, cleaning fridges, cookers
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

Putting crockery, equipment, and food away correctly with particular attention to hygiene and food safety.

Reliable, hard working, efficient and honest, with the ability to work under pressure and work as part of a team. Good communication skills, the ability to learn and apply information, a positive attitude towards work.

You must also provide proof that you have the right to work within the UK
